Parent Voices: Eunice's reflections on raising campers (Post 9)

“Thinking back to when our daughter Samantha went to Camp Shiloh for the first time, was a meaningful moment for us. Samantha carved the road for our kids' summer camp experience. The year after, Hannah joined, and like Samantha, she had a great and unforgettable time. About nine years later, our daughters, Samantha and Hannah, aged out of camp, and our third child, Daniel, attended his first year of camp in summer 2022.
We have also attended the family weekend getaway at Shiloh for two years in a row. Which was a relief after being isolated due to COVID.
Shiloh has been a place of great fun for our kids. Our youngest, Gabriel (7) can not wait until he is of age to follow his sibling's footsteps. Shiloh has given our children the opportunity to develop friendships and put their social skills into practice. It's given them a fun place where they feel like they belong. We are deeply grateful for the Shiloh community and will continue with the tradition of attending the family weekend getaway as long as it is available.
In addition to our fun and positive experiences with Shiloh, we are also extremely grateful for the academic scholarship awarded to our first child, Samantha, who is currently in her first year of college. Shiloh has been such a blessing to our family on so many different levels.

With gratitude,
Eunice”

We love our Shiloh families and are so honored to get to host you all for Family Getaway weekends and share Camp Shiloh with your kids!
