Serving at Camp Shiloh is life-giving, service-driven, transformative work.
We believe spending time in nature surrounded by Christian community is powerful, especially for youth with limited access to spaces beyond their neighborhood. We believe every kid deserves to be in nature and experience a barrier-free sleep-away camp, so we provide full scholarships to our campers. We celebrate the diverse setting created at camp as an incredible opportunity to open barriers, celebrate cultures and love more deeply.
Camp Shiloh's mission requires a team of capable young adults (that's you!) who are ready to teach every camper that they are capable, valued, and loved by God. After 70 years we know that when a child leaves camp knowing that truth, their life is forever impacted, and the staff member that walked alongside them is never forgotten.
Camp Shiloh is 5 weeks, plus 2 weeks of training. You'll pick an activity to help teach-- like swimming, climbing tower, challenge course, nature, archery, sports, or arts and crafts. You will care for children who need space to be a kid and know what it means to be loved by God by building trustworthy relationships that impact a camper's self-esteem, grow lifelong friendships and break down the walls that separate kids from the world beyond their neighborhood.
We'd love to tell you about summer in the Catskill Mountains at Camp Shiloh, and how you can use your gifts to love and teach campers from New York City and develop new skills that will strengthen you for your future careers and relationships.
We hope you will join us in our mission of hope (and all the summer camp fun!) this summer.
