Celebrating in Thankfulness

Thankfulness Series Posts

  • ShilohNYC stories shared throughout October

  • Hear from alumni, staff, volunteers, & supporters

The Shiloh family is celebrating and offering thanks for each member of the Shiloh community. This month we have the honor to share the multitude of ways God is at work through stories from the voices of Shiloh staff, alumni, volunteers, participants, and faithful supporters. 'Choices' has been the focus of our youth programs. We have been reflecting on the path forward when roadblocks overwhelm us. Proverbs 3 has been a guide as students wrestle with these choices, and we are encouraged by this scripture. Look for posts all month to celebrate together in thankfulness.

How can we have peace in a chaotic world with so many challenges?
Often we want to fight every encounter that pushes against us, creating tears in relationships and increasing anxiety. In Proverbs 3 we explored what it means to make a choice to trust in God, anchor ourselves in seeking wisdom, listen better, being kind and loving others.

At ShilohNYC we deeply know the challenges of being in the world and thankful for the transformational power of hope that God provides. It is an honor to share these stories, be a part of the Shiloh family, and celebrate by offering gratitude.
