Thankfulness for Work Week

"I've volunteered at Shiloh's camp work week for two years now in the kitchen. I had a few hours of "off time" from the kitchen so I worked with some of the other volunteers and cut wood to repair porch and step railings for several camper cabins. I also worked with my real life brother, Bob Malick, to rebuild the raised garden beds in front of the Celebration Center. Both experiences deepened my relationships with those volunteers and allowed me to demonstrate other talents. My favorite part of the week long experience is seeing and feeling the enthusiasm and God's love among all the volunteers. The friendships I've made and the camaraderie I feel with everyone there has helped to heal my soul after experiencing recent loss. God is so very good." -Mariann, Work Week Volunteer
