Meet Shiloh’s Rise Scholars!

Tamara

Tamara Mae Moore is a graduate student working towards her Teacher's Residency at New York University. She begins her journey at NYU participating in her first internship at a charter school in August. Tamara looks forward to providing support and learning opportunities to students in Public Schools, which were afforded to her as well. She is resilient and expresses fond memories about how Shiloh has formed a part of her learning experiences in life. Her greatest passion in life is to help others.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Adeyemi is currently attending Temple University. Her goal is to become a Pharmacist, achieving her MD in Pharmacology. Elizabeth has been met with many challenges during this difficult year. She exhibits resiliency through adversity, obtaining her certificate as a Pharmacy Technician and working full time in this field. She is dedicated to her passion in growing as a medical professional.

Sade

Sade Grant will be receiving her Masters of Arts in Special Education from The City University of New York Lehman College. Sade is a future educator who has the ability to connect with students and advocate for their needs. As a new mother Sade is determined to be a strong model of success for her son.

Raven

Raven Randall is a rising senior at Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia working towards a Bachelors of Art in Documentary Filmmaking. Raven has always been intrigued in the world around her and the people she meets. As a filmmaker Raven wants to give back by creating opportunities to teach others the art of filmmaking and telling their stories.

Bryanna

Bryanna George is a rising senior at The State University of New York Brockport, pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration. Bryanna has always desired to help and care for others, but her love for the healthcare profession grew when she participated in New York’s Summer Youth Employment Program. During her time in the SYEP program Breana worked at a nursing home, and through her heart to heart moments with patients confirmed the healthcare field is where she belongs.
