Thank you for being a part of the generations of the Shiloh family, equipping youth with tools that build hope.
“This summer I was proud of making it to the top of the climbing tower and ziplining down down, because everyone was encouraging me, and I was surrounded by my friends, and I was happy we were all together. I keep coming back because I like the community of people, and I like how it’s like a family.” -Ethan, age 15, camper since 2018

With your support we can continue to be a cornerstone community resource and grow the Shiloh family.

Shiloh youth know they are in a family that shows up to celebrate milestones, mourn through loss, and be there for every moment in between.

the impact of ShilohNYC

“My HiDef mentor helped me overcome major obstacles and pushed me to do the right things. It hit me when she said I could make an impact despite where I come from. I do my best in school now and I am set to graduate.”-17 yr old HiDef Mentee

ShilohNYC’s programs are designed to establish a foundation of trust so that a young person’s belief in their capability to take risks, overcome failure and accomplish goals can flourish.

Research shows that hope can only be experienced in people’s lives that have known struggle and have faith in their ability to arrive on the other side of adversity.

In order to have faith in our ability to rise above the struggle, we have to be taught to believe in ourselves. We only learn to believe in ourselves in safe places, with trustworthy connections, when someone else has believed in our ability and allowed us to practice.

At Shiloh we practice during swim class, at the climbing wall, in small group mentoring, in cabin devotionals, leading the prayer for the meal, sharing a personal reflection at HiDef, and even cabin clean up.

Equip Shiloh’s youth with Hope by supporting our Annual Year End Fund.
