CIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR:
In this position you will be charged with hiring, interviewing and working with CITs for the summer sessions at camp. Creating the lessons, work/break schedules and outings for the CITs. You are helping them to prepare to become a Shiloh staff member.
General Responsibilities:

Ratio: 1 coordinator for the camp season
Qualifications and Certifications:
✴ Christian visionary leader with positive attitude and energetic personality; highly organized, self motivated, and able to lead large groups of kids and staff in games or activities
✴ Minimum age: 21 with High School Diploma or equivalent.
✴ One-two years experience in leading groups, activities, and/or camp leadership.
✴ Comfortable talking in front of large groups
✴ Can assist with developming a teen program for growth, awareness, professional and life-skills.
✴ Experience modeling or teaching leadership, communication, and healthy relationship skills including healthy boundaries.
✴ Well organized and flexible.
✴ Creative and innovative when planning CIT program
✴ Able to uphold and enforce guidelines established by Shiloh as well as the State of New York
✴ Able to act decisively and honorably.

2. Manage CIT community, including interpersonal relationship building and reconciliation.
3. Assign CIT’s to assist in camp activities and camp classes.
4. Monitor effectiveness of jobs and with staff as well as weekly reviews of work.
5. Monitor curfew and CIT’s professionalism while at camp.
6. You may be asked to help serve food, wash dishes, or serve in other areas at Camp.

Must have the physical ability to lead and participate in camp activities which include, but are not limited to, hiking, swimming, team building initiatives, building campfires, physical games, and activities.
Must be capable of carrying loads of up to 90 pounds and able to traverse hilly and uneven terrain without undue exertion.
Work in conditions that will create dirt and dust.
Perform essential program support to camp activities and programs which may include, but not limited to the following activities: semi – reaching to full-reach overhead, crouching, kneeling, shoveling, working in narrow and/or confining spaces underground, overhead, and at ground level, twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs, and lying on stomach and/or back.
Must have the ability to physically manage and support children when needed for safety in general camp activities (child weighing 50 - 200 pounds).
Ability to perform a variety of tasks outdoors in different climates.

STIPEND:
$300+ per week depending on experience. Meals, housing and transportation are provided.
